Object of civil defense event held on the territory of detention center for illegal migrants of the State Migration Service operating in the Yevlakh city

The assembly and alert, as well as training on the object of civil defense, were held on the territory of the detention center for illegal migrants of the State Migration Service operating in the Yevlakh city.

At the first part of the event, the lineup order of civil defense forces, conditions of the properties and equipment were reassessed with the participation of the representatives of the civil defense headquarters, officers of the regional migration offices, as well as employees of health post and officers of the medical center of the Service, 1 fire truck of Yevlakh State Fire Protection Unit, ambulance and rescue teams. Moreover, detailed information was given about the protection of the population and the role of civil defense in the fight against disasters, use of new technologies in security and rescue operations, and the importance of setting new system on the training of professional and experienced staff.

The training was carried out during the conventional fire alarm, which aimed at providing maximum protection to workers, to persons placed in the detention center for illegal migrations, at the same time preventing the spread of conventional fire. At the training, with the issuance of the alarm signal, civil defense and firefighting teams, as well as special rescue teams were on time present in the place of incident. After collecting information about the situation in the place of incident by the engineer intelligence group and informing representatives of civil defense headquarters, operations on removing injured people to safe area, giving primary medical care at the health post, as well as carrying out accident-reconstruction operations at the electricity, gas and water lines has been implemented. Through timely intervention of the Fire Protection Unit personnel to the fire area, the spread of fire to other areas has been prevented and after the fire has been extinguished.

During the training, all forces operated mutually and demonstrated high professionalism. No cases of fragmentation and confusion have been detected. At the event, objectives that were set forth have been achieved.
