Information of State Migration Service on measures against illegal migration

As a result of measures carried out against illegal migration by State Migration Service on these days 10 citizens of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, who violated requirements of legislation, have been detained.

In the course of investigation, attempts of Miah Firus, citizen of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, to organize illegal migration channel via route of Azerbaijan-Turkey-Europe through transiting territory of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were revealed. Thus Miah Firus contacting with the Bangladeshi citizen Baharul Babar who is residing in Turkey, attempted to organize transit of Bangladeshi citizens Bepari MD Uzzal, Amin Mohammad Murul, Hassan MD Mahibul, Kudus MD, Hassan Mahmud from the direction of Nakhchivan. For this purpose he deceived his compatriots to Azerbaijan and accommodated them at different addresses. The abovementioned foreigners including organizer Miah Firus were detained by State Migration Service while they attempted to go to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

As well as, during the measure against illegal migration citizens of People’s Republic of Bangladesh Ahmad Rubel, Ali Muslim, Uddin Mohammad Jamir, Ahmad Mohammad Foysal, who were illegally residing on the territory of the country, were detained. It was determined that the mentioned persons were sent to Azerbaijan by Bangladeshi citizen Nihid Neovaz by being deceived in order to join illegal migration flow on the route of Azerbaijan-Iran-Turkey-Europe. Illegal acts of Nahid Neovaz were revealed by State Migration Service and the person was expelled from the border of the Republic of Azerbaijan in administrative way on 25th of January of current year. 

As a result of complex measures by State Migration Service against illegal migration during last 5 months 5 organized groups trying to arrange illegal migration of foreigners via route of Iran-Turkey-Europe passing through the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan were revealed and pacified.
