State Migration Service held awareness raising event in Bilasuvar

At the event held with participation of officials of provincial executive representations under regional administrative districts chief of Lankaran regional migration department Samadagha Abdullayev delivered speech and stated that fundamental steps are taken by President Ilham Aliyev in the direction of legislation, as well as its application for the purpose of managing and regulating migration processes, improving management mechanisms in migration sphere as in other spheres. It was mentioned that the declaration of 2016 as a “Year of multiculturalism” in Azerbaijan is an example of tolerance based management of our state.

Other colleagues of the Service talked about registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon place of stay, the rules of issuance of permits for temporary and permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the event was also delivered information about labor migration and its legal regulation, as well as liabilities determined in the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Azerbaijan for violating requirements of migration legislation.
