Information of State Migration Service
As a result of preventive measures against illegal migration by State Migration Service 15 citizens of People’s Republic of Bangladesh and 5 citizens of Islamic Republic of Pakistan were detained.
During the investigation it was determined that organizers of these persons’ arrival in the country, accommodation of them in groups at different addresses by seizing their passports and illegal migration on the route of Azerbaijan-Iran-Turkey-Europe are the citizen of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Selim Muhammed, who settled in Greece and his coordinator in Azerbaijan and compatriot Nahid Neowaz, who is illegally residing in the country and wanted by State Migration Service.
As a result of taken measures, with concrete facts it was confirmed that Selim Muhammed, with the help of Nahid Neowaz, has arranged transfer of Bangladeshi citizens to the Islamic Republic of Iran and their arrival in the country of destination by using the Republic of Azerbaijan as a country of transit.
State Migration Service resumes relevant investigations on Selim Muhammed, Nahid Neowaz and other Bangladeshi citizens who arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan with the help of the aforementioned persons and became illegal migrants.
