The State Migration Service starts new projects focusing on the target groups

The State Migration Service starts new projects focusing on the target groups in the direction of enlightenment of foreigners and stateless persons arriving in our country on registration upon place of stay in accordance with the requirements of Migration Code. Demonstration of video clips and slides presented by the Service in different languages in bus-stops of the capital via Intelligent Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Transport, aroused interest in public.

Moreover, taking into consideration of travel routes of migrants, broadcasting of informative video materials in arrivals hall of newly-opened air terminal complex of Heydar Aliyev International Airport which is distinguished for its beauty and functional qualities, both reminds each foreigner arriving in our country, of his/her duties and is appreciated as protection of their rights in the true sense of the word. Informative materials, emphasizing importance of registration upon place of stay of foreigners and stateless persons temporarily staying in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 3 days in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, is shown on special monitors installed in Baku Railway Station the whole day.

Video clips and slides presented by the State Migration Service are demonstrated in the ships of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company sailing from Baku to Aktau seaport of Kazakhstan and Turkmenbashi seaport of Turkmenistan and opposite routes. The goal of the State Migration Service is to inform target groups on the requirements of the legislation, significance of legal residence in the country and strict threats of illegal migration for illegal migrants. It was mentioned by the Service that furthermore, publication, as well as distribution of informative booklets and demonstration of video materials reflecting rules of granting permits for temporary residence on TV channels, are carried out.
