Three – day workshop on “Readmission” in the frame of Twinning project of the State Migration Service

On December 15, workshop about best practices of member states of European Union on implementation of Readmission Agreements started with the participation of experts invited from General Inspectorate for Immigration of the Republic of Romania, Repatriation and Departure Service of the Kingdom of Netherlands and State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia.

The delegations from State Border Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as Baku Office of the International Organization for Migration are participating in workshop besides employees of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main purpose is to support the development of practices of abovementioned agencies’ staff on readmission sphere. At the end of the workshop certificates will be given to participants.

It should be noted that, this workshop is implementing within the framework of Twinning project called “Support to the professional development of the staff of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan” funded by European Union.  The main partner of the State Migration Service in this project covering 2013-2015 is the Kingdom of Netherlands and the other partner countries are the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Romania.
