Event was held at State Migration Service on the occasion of National Flag Day

Employees of migration bodies under the guidance of Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev visited National Flag Square Complex on the occasion of National Flag Day.

Meeting the guests management of the Complex once again brought to the attention the importance of the President Ilham Aliyev’s Order on establishment of this square on November 17, 2007 in Baku and celebrating November 9 each year as the National Flag Day in Azerbaijan.  First of all administration of the Service and employees of migration bodies got acquainted with the National Flag Square.

The visit was continued at the National Flag Museum. During the visit which served to strengthening the spirit of national patriotism of the migration employees and acquiring profound knowledge on our history and culture, acquaintance with the achievements gained by our country throughout the history, preserved flags and other state symbols of the states existed in the territory of Azerbaijan at various times was particularly memorable.

Service chief F. Nabiyev touched on the duties of each employee of migration bodies to ensure the tricolored national flag of modern Republic of Azerbaijan, the masterpiece of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, to wave always proudly at the heights under the leadership of the President of the country, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev.  

Acquaintance with the National Flag Square Complex and given information was met with high spirits and sense of pride by the employees of the State Migration Service who are standing vigilantly on guard of the national and economical security of Azerbaijan, successfully performing the work of regulation of migration processes, as a body of service considering the priority to ensure satisfaction of applicants and who completed 10 months of the current year with success.

F.Nabiyev wrote his heartfelt words in the Guest book of the Complex. Memory  photos were taken.

Then official ceremony was held on the National Flag Day at the administrative building of the Service. The National Anthem was played. The lecture on “The Flag of Azerbaijan is the symbol our statehood and independence” was listened. Event participants watched the film dedicated to the Flag of Azerbaijan.
