Chief of the State Migration Service received Ambassador of Germany in our country
On January 19, 2014 chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev received Miss Heidrun Tempel, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Germany in our country and delegation headed by her.
Sincerely greeting the guests Service chief talked about perspectives of developing cooperation between relevant state authorities of two countries as an obvious example of strengthening of friendship ties between Azerbaijan and Germany year by year.
Speaking about activities of State Migration Service, improvement of migration legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan F.Nabiyev gave comprehensive information about novelties applied in this sphere with the adoption of Migration Code. He notified that with the adoption of Migration Code relevant permits granted for legal residence and labor activity of foreigners and stateless persons in the country were facilitated. Service chief also talked about measures taken in the direction of conclusion of visa facilitation and readmission agreements between Azerbaijan and European Union.
Thanking for sincere reception Mrs. Heidrun Tempel expressed her satisfaction with the meeting, pointed out necessity of developing bilateral relations of relevant agencies of two countries.
At the meeting perspectives of bilateral cooperation were discussed, importance of mutual experience exchange in migration sphere between Germany and Azerbaijan was emphasized. Opinion exchange about issues of mutual interest in migration sphere was conducted.
