656 foreigners violating the country legislation detained by State Migration Service within two days

Measures on strengthening state control over migration processes, as well as preventing illegal migration are constantly continued by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic.

In total 656 foreigners were detained by the Service employees as a result of two days monitoring conducted in northern regions of the republic. Thus on May 30-31, 2012 as a result of relevant activities against illegal migration conducted by the State Migration Service in Guba and Gusar regions of the country, 656 foreigners involved in labour activity without work permit against the requirements of the legislation of Azerbaijan Republic were revealed. Decisions on detained persons were taken according to the requirements of the administrative legislation of Azerbaijan Republic.

Intensive measures are being continued by the State Migration Service in the capital and in the regions towards revealing and preventing illegal migration.
