Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in our country Hulusi Kilich met chief of the State Migration Service Firudin Nabiyev

On April 5, 2012 chief of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Azerbaijan Republic Hulusi Kilich and delegation headed by him.

Service chief sincerely greeting the guests brought to their notice that he received recently Board of Directors members of Azerbaijan Turkey Businessmen Association and a number of important issues were discussed. F. Nabiyev mentioning Great Leader Heydar Aliyev’s aphorism “one nation, two states” which has won hearts spoke about Azerbaijan-Turkish relations and development of bilateral relations in migration field in the future as in other spheres.

Congratulating the Service chief on new appointment Ambassador H. Kilich stated that they will always be next to Azerbaijan as Turkish state. Mentioning aphorism of the leader of Turkish world genius Mustafa Kamal Ataturk “Azerbaijan’s sorrow is our sorrow, the happiness is our happiness” notified that they were proud of Azerbaijan’s economic development in the last years.

Firudin Nabiyev spoke about importance of “single window” principle applied since July 2009 for improving migration management mechanism, granting relevant permissions to foreigners and stateless persons for residence on the territory of the country on legal bases and engaging in labor activity, facilitating their registration procedure upon place of residence and ensuring transparency in this sphere. He noted that each application received by the State Migration Service is investigated within the requirements of country legislation and relevant decisions are taken by individual approach towards each application. Service chief gave statistical information to the guests on the number of Turkish Republic citizens residing and working in our country on legal bases and once again called them to follow Azerbaijan Republic legislation. 

Counselor of the Ambassador on security issues Ismayil Chalishkan, Counselor on labor and social security issues Mustafa Gur and Counsellor Maryam Tighrag attended the meeting.
