A meeting in the State Migration Service with the experts from International Centre for Migration Policy Development

A meeting with the experts from International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) was held in the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic on 25th May 2010.

The guests were given information about the State Migration Service establishment history, activity and achievements gained in short time period. During the meeting discussions were held on comments and amendments for Azerbaijan part of the “Overview of the Migration Systems in the CIS Countries” prepared within the framework of the project “Re-direction of the Budapest Process to the CIS Region” in 2005.

At the end detailed answers were given to the guests’ questions on Azerbaijan part of the “Overview” and other issues of mutual importance were discussed.
