Meeting with the delegation of International Center for Migration Policy Development

Meeting with the delegation of International Center for Migration Policy Development (İCMPD) was held at the State Migration Service on  26th November 2009.

Head of the delegation, the head of Research and Analysis Center Immigration Office of the Romanian Ministry of Administration and Interior Mr. Emil Nikulesku mentioned that, they had already visited several CIS countries within the frame of the “Building Migration Partnership” project. The purpose was to learn situation with migration and implementation of conditions of Declaration accepted in Prague Ministerial Conference in April 2008.  

During the meeting the guests were informed about migration processes in Azerbaijan, the history of State Migration Service and the works done in this field. 

Then, development of cooperation between State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic and ICMPD and several issues of mutual interest in this field were discussed.
