State Migration Service Chief Mr. Arzu Rahimov received the delegation headed by the Chief Secretary of the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police Mr. Morten Ruud on November 24, 2009.

After warm welcome Mr. Rahimov briefly spoke about the migration processes, the history of the State Migration Service and the results achieved in short period in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting the discussion about the establishment and development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Norway in the migration area was carried out.

Mr. Morten Ruud invited Service Chief Mr. Rahimov to Norway.

The first Secretary of Norwegian Embassy to Azerbaijan Mr. Lars Hansen also participated at the meeting.
