Information of the State Migration Service on the application of a visa-free regime for citizens of the People's Republic of China for a period of one year

Pursuant to the "Joint Declaration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People’s Republic of China on the establishment of a strategic partnership" adopted on July 3, 2024, citizens of the People's Republic of China with a valid ordinary passport can visit Azerbaijan without a visa 3 times within a year starting from July 20, 2024 to July 20, 2025, and stay in the country for up to 30 days each time.  

In case of temporary stay in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days, those persons must get registered upon place of stay in accordance with the requirements of the Migration Code.

Chinese citizens who wish to travel to Azerbaijan more than 3 times during the relevant period or stay in the country for more than 30 days can enter the country after obtaining a visa in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
