Signing ceremony of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan documents held
On April 24, a signing ceremony of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan documents has been held in our country with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadir Japarov signed the "Decision of the second meeting of the Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic" and "Joint Declaration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadir Japarov".
At the ceremony, documents covering various fields were signed between the two countries, including the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of migration."
The document was signed by the Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vusal Huseynov, and the Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Gulnara Baatyrova.
The Agreement envisages the exchange of information and experience between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of migration, the development and expansion of the cooperation directions, including capacity building of employees of responsible authorities, implementing joint activities and projects, and at the same time, it will serve the development of relations to ensure the protection of the rights of the citizens in the territory of both states.
The agreement is also of great importance in terms of creating a legal basis for bilateral cooperation on migration, developing and strengthening a mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of regulation of migration, and exchange of experience, statistical, scientific, methodical and other information.
It should be noted that a total of 18 documents were signed during the visit.
