Event held at the State Migration Service on the occasion of Victory Day

An event has been organized on the eve of November 8, which is the 3rd anniversary of Victory Day - a glorious page in our history, at the State Migration Service.

The event began with a minute of silence in dear memory of our heroes who reached the summit of martyrdom by sacrificing their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Colonel Rafig Israfilov and Colonel-Lieutenant Anar Mirzayev awarded with the "Hero of the Patriotic War" medal were invited as guests of the event which was also attended by the employees of the State Migration Service who have participated in the Patriotic War.

Delivering an opening speech Elman Aliyev, the Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service, spoke about the proud and challenging moments of the Patriotic War as a participant of the first Karabakh War. He stated that under the leadership of our esteemed President, Victorious Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the invincible strength of the brave Azerbaijani army and the unwavering unity of our people defeated the enemy and liberated our lands from the occupiers, restoring our territorial integrity during the 44 days. He emphasized that this significant date, reflecting our glorious history, is a day that every Azerbaijani proudly celebrates every year.

The guests of honor of the event, Colonel Rafig Israfilov and Colonel-Lieutenant Anar Mirzayev spoke about their honorable and challenging battle experiences. Participants talked about the victories of the glorious Azerbaijani army, which had written a new page in the history of triumph, and answered questions of the participants.

The event featured a video presentation highlighting the glorious Victory achieved in the righteous war we waged during the 44 days thanks to the strong determination and resolute leadership of Victorious Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the unity of our people, and the valor of our invincible army.
