The running competition organized by the State Migration Service within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev."

Next event has been organized within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” by the State Migration Service.

The "Heydar Aliyev – 100 years" race held with the substantial support of the "Türkiye and Azerbaijan Businessmen and Industrialists” Public Union and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation in the Seaside Boulevard National Park on October 1,  was attended by the employees of migration bodies, foreigners residing and working in our country for a long period of time, representatives of international organizations, members of civil society involved in migration management and volunteers.

245 participants were registered for participation in the race, which aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and integration of foreigners living in our country into the local community. Participants attempted to complete the 5-kilometer circular distance starting from the "Deniz Mall" shopping center within a short time.

Toghrul Mammadli finished the race first, Elman Abishov second, and Jeynur Ahmadov third. The top three participants were awarded with trophies, medals, and diplomas, as well as valuable gifts. Additionally, the first female participant who reached the finish line Yuliya Belkovaya, and the oldest participant in the race, 85-year-old Tarverdi Aliyev, were presented with encouraging awards.

The Seaside Boulevard Administration, the "Türkiye and Azerbaijan Businessmen and Industrialists” Public Union and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation were expressed gratitude and presented certificates of appreciation for their support in organizing the running competition.
