The closing ceremony of the project "Migration School - 5" held
The closing ceremony of the project "Migration School - 5," organized jointly by the State Migration Service and the Representation of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Azerbaijan, within the framework of the Regional Training Center on Migration, was held.
At the event, Vusal Huseynov, Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor, congratulated the young participants of the project and wished them success in their future activities. The Chief of the Service mentioned that since 2018, more than 150 trainings have been held in total with the participation of nearly 100 youngsters within the framework of the five Migration Schools. The successful implementation of the 5th "Migration School" project by the State Migration Service has contributed to increasing the knowledge of youngsters regarding migration and raising awareness on state governance.
At the ceremony, Mr. Amr Taha, the Acting Chief of the Representation of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Azar Allahveranov, the Chairman of the Public Council under the State Migration Service, made speeches and shared their thoughts with the project participants.
Later, a summary video of the trainings held within the framework of the "Migration School - 5" project was presented.
At the end, while certificates were awarded to the participants who successfully completed the "Migration School - 5" project, distinguished trainers of the project were also presented letters of appreciation .
It should be noted that 30 trainings including 20 participants within the framework of the "Migration School - 5" project, organized by the State Migration Service, were conducted not only by the relevant departments of the State Migration Service but also by the project partners, as well as representatives of state bodies, international and non-governmental organizations, local and international experts. Additionally, study visits of the participants were organized to the Detention Center for Illegal Migrants, the Reception Department and Call Center, as well as the Khachmaz regional migration department and the "Guba ASAN Service" Center (for familiarization with the work of the migration division), and they were given a chance to be practitioners in the relevant structurcal sectors.
