Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov met with the delegation led by the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On April 12, Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov met with the delegation led by the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Nenad Nešić.

At the meeting, the Chief of the Service noted that bilateral relations between our countries are successfully developing in various fields. He highly appreciated Bosnia and Herzegovina supporting the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, as well as the country's parliament adopting, a resolution on Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan and the Khojaly massacre, one of the worst events of the 20th century.

Vusal Huseynov noted that within the framework of close cooperation a potential exists to expand relations and legal framework between the relevant institutions of our countries in the field of migration. The Chief of the Service informed about the measures taken in the direction of the migration policy of Azerbaijan, improvement of migration legislation, application of digital solutions, as well as the development of international relations and capacity building in the field of migration management at the regional level.

Expressing gratitude for the cordial meeting, Minister Nenad Nešić noted the development of existing relations between the two countries and the importance of expanding cooperation in the field of migration.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on other issues of mutual interest, and souvenirs were presented.
