The closing ceremony of the "Migration School - 4" project was held

The closing ceremony of the "Migration School - 4" project, implemented within the framework of the Regional Training Center on Migration, was held under the joint organization of the State Migration Service and the Representation of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the ceremony, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva, the head of the Representation of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Azerbaijan Vladimir Gyorgev, the head of the Representation of the International Center for the Development of Migration Policy in the Republic of Azerbaijan Saltanat Mammadova, the chairman of the Public Council under the State Migration Service Azer Allahverenov expressed their heartfelt words to the project participants and shared their impressions.

Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov, spoke at the event and congratulated the young people participating in the project and wished them success in their future activities. He said that the 4 "Migration School" projects successfully implemented by the State Migration Service from 2019 to the present made an important contribution to increasing the knowledge of young people about migration and raising the level of awareness about state governance.

Then video posted on the network's official website and social network accounts were shown, regarding the selection of the "Migration School" project by the UN Network of Migration Centers as one of the best practices implemented in this field.

In the end, certificates were presented to the participants who successfully completed the "Migration School - 4" project. The event was attended by representatives of various state institutions, non-governmental and international organizations who participated as trainers.

It should be noted that 25 trainings organized by the State Migration Service within the framework of the "Migration School - 4" project were held by the relevant structural units of the SMS, as well as project partners, as well as representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, local and international experts.
