Shirvan and Aghsu Regional Migration Departments held an online awareness-raising event

Shirvan Regional Migration Department held an online awareness-raising event on "Rules for issuing documents granting the right to reside in the Republic of Azerbaijan to foreigners and stateless persons who study, as well as cases creating administrative liability" with the participation of officials of education departments of cities and regions within the service area.

During the event information was provided on the 15th anniversary of the State Migration Service and its activities, e-services, the 919 Call Center operating 24/7 in 3 languages, the “MIGAZ” mobile application, as well as the rights and responsibilities of foreigners and stateless persons, measures to combat irregular migration. The rules for issuing documents granting the right to reside in our country to foreigners studying in our country were explained. At the end of the event, the questions of the participants were answered.

Another online awareness-raising event was held at the Shamakhi branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University with the participation of professors and teaching staff, as well as focal points. The event was dedicated to "Rules for issuing documents granting the right to reside to foreigners and stateless persons studying in the Republic of Azerbaijan", as well as "History of establishment, stage of development and activities of the State Migration Service". Additions and amendments made to the migration legislation, as well as the history, stages of development and activities of the Service were discussed.
