Information of the Public Relations Department of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan
On 31 March 2021, 32 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been readmitted from the Federal Republic of Germany within the framework of the “Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Union on the readmission of persons residing without authorization”. The readmitted citizens were met at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by employees of the State Migration Service with the participation of their family members. The readmission process was carried out within the framework of the rules established by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers in connection with the pandemic.
31 Azerbaijani citizens were sent to their homes with the presence of their families. As one of the readmitted persons did not have a place to stay, he applied to the State Migration Service for accommodation. The person's appeal was approved. He was temporarily placed in the relevant detention center of the Service in Baku. Today, the person is provided with accommodation by his close relatives.
It should be noted that the Working Group on Reintegration, coordinated by the State Migration Service, takes appropriate measures to promptly address the difficulties and problems faced by readmitted citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to organize their effective and sustainable socio-economic reintegration into society.
