To the attention of foreigners and stateless persons whose temporary staying period in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan extended for 60 days!

At present applications on extension of temporary staying period of foreigners, who are unable or unwilling to leave the territory of the country related with the special quarantine regime applied by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, are considered to be accepted by the State Migration Service and are ensured by payment of the relevant state fee.

Taking into account the extension of restriction applied on entry and exit at the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan until May 31, 2020, possibility of extension of temporary staying period of foreigners in the country up to 60 days according to the migration legislation and limited opportunities of foreigners to leave the country, staying in the country of foreigners, whose temporary staying period was extended up to 60 days (by payment of the state fee), is considered legal without the payment of additional state fee until the restrictions on movement at the state border are lifted. 

Furthermore, please be informed that those foreigners will be required to leave the territory of the country or to apply for relevant residence permit, if there are appropriate grounds, shortly after restrictions applied on movement at the state border are lifted.
