11881 applications received via e-services of the State Migration Service

The State Migration Service takes necessary measures to expand the use of e-services, to increase their quantity and quality, and improve citizens' satisfaction with the services.

Due to the application of restrictions on movement during the special quarantine regime in our country, at present, the applications of foreigners and stateless persons to the State Migration Service are only received electronically (https://eservice.migration.gov.az). This includes extension of temporary staying period of foreigners in our country, obtaining (extension) of temporary or permanent residence and work permits, as well as the payment of state fees and other electronic services.

There is a dynamic increase in the use of e-services by foreigners compared to the previous period. Thus, in March of this year, the number for use of electronic services of the State Migration Service was 11881.

According to the statistics, 8627 applications were related to registration upon place of stay, 2570 were related to the extension of temporary staying period, 563 were related to temporary residence permits, 106 were related to work permits, and 15 were related to permanent residence permits.

It should be noted that taking into account the special quarantine regime applied in our country as a result of the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the submission of the documents of foreigners and stateless persons has been simplified, the permit procedure has been optimized, and measures are being continued in this direction.
