Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov met with the Regional Portfolio Manager of the International Center for Migration Policy Development

Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov has met with the Regional Portfolio Manager of the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) Ms. Violeta Wagner.

Sincerely greeting the guest, the Service Chief noted the successful implementation of the “Reintegration Support to the Azerbaijani Returnees (RESTART)” project aimed at ensuring effective reintegration of our citizens to the society. He emphasized the realization of issues such as medical treatment and check-up, payment of educational courses for children, placing them to the rehabilitation centers, purchase of wheelchairs, restoration of identity cards, etc. as a result of support within the framework of the project.

Noting the participation of “Migration Volunteers” in the project, as well, the Service chief brought into attention of the guest that relevant investigation was conducted by volunteers regarding state, private and other Rehabilitation Centers functioning in the country in order to place disabled children for permanent treatment. Moreover, he informed the guest about various projects implemented by the Service.

Expressing her gratitude for sincere reception the Regional Portfolio Manager of the ICMPD Ms. Violeta Wagner mentioned the significance of development of the cooperation in the fields of mutual interest. She talked about successful results of the RESTART project, as well.

At the meeting, opinion exchange was conducted on further issues on the agenda.
