Event held on “Rights of all migrant workers and their family members” in Sheki

Event was held on “Rights of all migrant workers and their family members” by the State Migration Service in Gabala which is included in the service area of Sheki Regional Migration Department according to “Action Plan” within the framework of “Human Rights month”. 75 participants consisting of representatives of local executive authorities, public and media, law enforcement bodies, heads of institutions and enterprises, educational workers, foreigners and stateless persons participated at the event.

In her opening speech Deputy head of Gabala District Executive Authority Ataya Osmanova highlighted the significance of awareness raising events in the regions in the field of migration.

Later Division chief of Sheki Regional Migration Department Taleh Musayev gave detailed information on activities of State Migration Service, its Regional Departments, Detention Centers, service places at border-crossing points, Unified Migration Information System, Electronic Document Circulation, MIGAZ mobile application, integration of 14 electronic services to E-government portal, as well as  work of “Call Center” operating in 24-hour mode.

In the end, discussions were held around the topic and questions interested participants were responded.
