Chief of State Migration Service met with the minister of Internal Affairs of Montenegro

Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov met with Mevludin Nuhodzic, minister of Internal Affairs of Montenegro.

The Service Chief, warmly greeting the guests mentioned the development of the existing close friendly relations and mutual efficient cooperation between Azerbaijan and Montenegro. He noted that mutual visits of the Presidents of both countries are indicators of the highest level of cooperation between two countries. Moreover, there are close links between the Parliaments of both countries, the cooperation in the economic, tourism and humanitarian fields is developed.

The Service Chief spoke about the significance of cooperation between the State Migration Service and relevant authorities of Montenegro. The Agreement between the “Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Montenegro on the readmission of persons residing without authorization” was underlined as the first bilateral agreement in migration field, which reflects the occupation of the territories of our country.

Mevludin Nuhodzic thanking for warm welcome, talked about comprehensive development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro and the perspectives of cooperation in the field of migration. He expressed his confidence for further successful development of the cooperation between the relevant authorities of both countries.

Ddevelopment of cooperation on migration management, fight against illegal migration, increasing tourism potential, visa facilitation policy, ensuring efficient practice and information exchange, as well as expansion of the contractual-legal framework and other issues were discussed in the meeting.

The minister of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Mevludin Nuhodzic got familiarized with the Heydar Aliyev Museum of the Service and wrote his thoughts to the memory book of the museum.
