Khachmaz Regional Migration Department held awareness-raising event on “State Migration Service- 12 years” on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the International Novruz holiday

85 persons, including employees of the district executive authority, executive representatives, municipalities, individuals from other departments and organizations attended the event.

Division chief of the Khachmaz District Executive Power Emin Aghayev opening the event with introductory speech highlighted the importance of awareness-raising event, and congratulated the employees of migration bodies on the occasion of upcoming professional holiday.

Later Chief of the Khachmaz Regional Migration Department, migration service counselor Hidayat Rustamov gave general information about the path the Service passed during 12 years. In his speech the event participants were informed about the activity of migration units of the State Migration Service at border checkpoints, a new mobile application the “MIGAZ”,  integration of 14 e-services by the Service into the e-government portal, 24 hours working regime of the 919 Call Center and other innovations.

Moreover, Sector chief, I rank migration service employee Nail Isayev delivered a speech about the procedures related with the main points in migration legislation- registration upon place of stay, temporary residence permit, permanent residence permit, work permit and citizenship issues in detail.

At the end of the event, discussions were held on the subject and questions of the event participants were answered.
