Information of the Public Relations Department of State Migration Service

An awareness raising event has been held in Jalilabad district, which is included to the service area of the Lankaran Regional Migration Department, in the Jalilabad district branch of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical University with the participation of professors and students.

At the event, information was delivered on the amendments and addendums to the legislation in the field of migration, the functions and the terms of use of the “MIGAZ” mobile application was visually demonstrated and explained. Furthermore, the e-services rendered by the State Migration Service, the rules of registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon place of stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan, issuance of temporary or permanent residence permits within the territory of the country were explained and detailed information was delivered on the administrative liability for violation of the requirements of the migration legislation, as well as irregular migration. The simplification of procedures on stay and residence of foreigners and stateless persons in the country and issuance of work permits has underlined with concrete facts.
