State Migration Service held an awareness-raising event in Fuzuli district

An awareness-raising event has been held on “The history of establishment of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, its activity directions, and amendments and additions to the legislation” in Fuzuli district, included in the service area of the Shirvan regional migration department.

In total 90 persons including foreigners and stateless persons, employees of the educational institutions, representatives of the public and local executive authority, heads of departments and institutions, the mass media and employees of law enforcement agencies, as well as the Registration and ID team of the District Police Department attended the event.

After the opening speech of Head of the Law department of the Fuzuli district executive power Ramiz Behbudov, Deputy chief of the Shirvan regional migration department Shamsaddin Mammadov delivered a detailed report.

Information was delivered about the latest updates by the State Migration Service, amendments in the legislation, as well as the functions, rules of use and advantages of the new mobile application - “MIGAZ” were widely explained.

Later discussions were held on the subject and the questions of the participants were responded.
