1135 foreigners attended the courses organized by the Training Center of the State Migration Service during the 9 months of 2018

1135 persons attended the courses organized by the Training Center of the State Migration Service for the foreigners and stateless persons during the 9 months of the current year.

Within the framework of the course 705 hours program, including 244 hours language classes for those who do not know Azerbaijani, were delivered to the participants.

The purpose of the courses is to teach Azerbaijani language, history, culture and the legislation, as well as the rights and obligations of foreigners and stateless persons as defined in the Migration Code.

It should be noted that 84% of course participants, who were invited to the interview during the 9 months of the current year by the Commission for testing knowledge of foreigners and stateless persons, who applied to State Migration Service for obtaining permission for permanent residence in the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the rights and obligations envisaged by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as on the state language, scored positive result.

It should be mentioned that – 2652 persons attended the course for foreigners and stateless persons from the start of the courses until October 1 of the current year.
