Awareness raising event and mobile service held in Zagatala city

State Migration Service (SMS) held a meeting in Zagatala city, which is included to the service area of Shaki Regional Migration Department, with the participation of the representatives of administrative territorial units of the district and heads of municipality in order to raise awareness of the population in the field of migration legislation and identify the illegally residing foreigners and stateless persons. The authorized employees of the Regional Migration Department informed the participants about recent changes in migration legislation and answered to their questions in compliance with the legislation.

On the same day, a mobile service was organized in Zagatala, for on spot and flexible reception of all types of applications of foreigners and stateless persons to SMS. 25 persons benefited from the opportunities of the mobile service. Thus, 14 of them were submitted the permits for temporary and permanent residence on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as 6 persons were provided with the references on the establishment of the citizenship. Furthermore, 5 persons were submitted the list of documents required for applying for establishment of the citizenship, as well as temporary and permanent residence and work permits.

The applicants expressed gratitude for organization of the mobile service.
