112 foreigners detained during the measures against illegal migration by State Migration Service
As a result of the measures taken by State Migration Service against illegal migration during last 4 days, in total 112 foreigners were detained. Among them are 22 citizens of Russia, 18 citizens of Georgia, 13 citizens of Turkmenistan, 12 citizens of India, 9 citizens of Pakistan, 7 citizens of Uzbekistan, 6 citizens of Ukraine, 6 citizens of Iran, 4 citizens of Turkey, 3 citizens of Iraq, 3 citizens of Nigeria, 2 citizens of Kazakhstan, 2 citizens of United Arab Emirates, 1 citizen of Nepal, 1 citizen of Marrakesh, 1 citizen of France, 1 citizen of Norway and 1 citizen of Syria.
It was determined that 6 Pakistani, 3 Nigerian, 2 Indian and 1 Kazakhstani citizens did not live in the registered adress, as well as 13 citizens of Turkmenistan (street trade) and 3 Indian citizens violated declared purpose of their arrival in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and another 84 persons were living illegally in the country.
Administrative decisions were taken about 89 of the detained foreigners and measures are being taken in the context of expulsion of remaining foreigners from the territory of the country.
Measures within the framework of fight against illegal migration are being continued by State Migration Service.
