42 foreigners detained during the measures against illegal migration by State Migration Service
Measures within the framework of fight against illegal migration are being continued by State Migration Service.
As a result of the measures taken by State Migration Service against illegal migration on August 1 and 2, in total 42 foreigners consisting 10 citizens of India, 7 citizens of Turkmenistan, 5 citizens of Georgia, 4 citizens of Turkey, 2 citizens of United Arab Amirates, 2 citizens of Pakistan, 2 citizens of Iraq, 2 citizens of Tajikistan, 1 citizen of United Kingdom, 1 citizen of Russia, 1 citizen of Afganistan, 1 citizen of Ukraine , 1 citizen of Moldova, 1 citizen of Netherlands, 1 citizen of Philippines and 1 citizen of Iran were detained.
It was determined that 10 İndian, 1 Pakistani and 1 Turkish citizens did not live in the registered adress, as well as 3 citizens of Turkmenistan (street trade) and 1 Turkish citizen violated declared purpose of their arrival in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and another 25 persons were living illegally in the country.
It was revealed that 1 citizen of Iraq, who was born on 08.06.1982, and previously expelled from the country entered the territory by intentionally changing the passport details and under the name Ahmad Gabar Kadim Tameemi.
Administrative decisions were taken about 31 of the detained foreigners and measures are being taken in the context of expulsion of remaining foreigners from the territory of the country.
