Employees of the State Migration Service participate at the international summer school on migration research

International Summer School on migration research has been organized in Gakh region from July 1 to 7 of this year within the framework of projects of the International Centre for Migration Policy  Development (ICMPD)  "Support to the Implementation of  The Mobility Partnership with Azerbaijan (MOBILAZE)" and "ENIGMMA 2" implemented with Georgia. Summer school is being implemented within the framework of cooperation with the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on Migration Issues of Georgia.

One-week summer school covers research oriented, multidisciplinary and innovative academic lectures, seminars and projects on migration and migration policy in Azerbaijan, Georgia and the European Union. International experts from the European Union, Azerbaijan and Georgia are lecturing at the summer school and presenting practical activities.

At the event attended about 50 students and young specialists from Azerbaijan and Georgia studying media, international migration, economics, demography, social and political sciences.  

Employees of the State Migration Service are also attending the summer school.
