Foreigner who detained for violating the requirements of migration legislation turned out to be on the wanted list of Interpol
As a result of the measures taken by State Migration Service against illegal migration, in total 13 foreigners consisting 4 citizens of Turkey, 1 citizen of Iran, 1 citizen of Bangladesh and as a result of the event held jointly with the State Security Service 7 citizens of Nepal were identified.
During the investigation it was revealed that mentioned foreigners have violated the rules of migration (stay and residence) in Azerbaijan.
It was determined that the detained Bangladeshi citizen Saiful MD Islam was brought to the country with the promise that he would move to Iran and then to Turkey by using the territory of Azerbaijan and conditions were met for him to become an illegal migrant. As a result of preventive measures attempts to create an illegal migration channel have been prevented.
At the same time, the relevant authorities were informed that detained Sokmen Sabri, a Turkish citizen, determined in the wanted list of Interpol.
The detained foreigners because of violating the requirements of migration legislation were drawn to liability and decisions were made about them.
