Starting today registration of foreigners upon the place of stay at all “ASAN Service” centers

As it was previous announced, the registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon the place of stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan will be conducted at all “ASAN Service” centers operating in the country along with Baku and Sumgayit cities, in parallel with the regional migration departments of the State Migration Service (SMS).

The registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon the place of stay in “ASAN Service” centers is realized in accordance with the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the State Migration Service and State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 17 of the current year.

According to the Memorandum, the State Migration Service will provide the reception of the application of foreigners or stateless persons upon the place of stay at “ASAN Service” centers, staying in the country for more than 10 days, and the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations will create favorable condition for realization of the intended services upon application of innovations and high standards.

The purpose is to provide the transparency and convenience in the process of registration, prevent the possible queues, increase customer satisfaction and enlarge the application opportunities for the individuals.
