53 foreigners were brought to administrative justice
As a result of the measures taken by the State Migration Service against illegal migration in the first 10 days of May, 53 foreigners totally consisting 22 citizens of Pakistan, 20 citizens of Uzbekistan, 6 citizens of India, 2 citizen of Turkey, 2 citizens of Georgia and 1 citizen of Kyrgyzstan were detained.
During the investigation, violation of the rules of stay and residence on the territory of the country by the citizens of Pakistan, India, Turkey, Georgia and Uzbekistan was revealed. Engagement in illegal activities by 19 citizens of Uzbekistan and 1 citizen of the Kyrgyzstan in the territory of Azerbaijan was found out.
Besides this, it was determined that Tahira Yasmeen and Tabsum Khawaja Waqar Rahmed, the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, living illegally in our country, brought their compatriots to Azerbaijan by fraudulently promoting transit crossings towards Europe and Canada using the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
T.Yasmeen organized the placement of those foreigners in various locations, promised them a permission for a temporary residence in Azerbaijan and created conditions for illegal migration, adopting their certain amount of money.
There have been realized appropriate measures in the direction of expulsion of the mentioned persons from the territory of the country.
Measures against illegal migration are continued by the State Migration Service.
