Attention to Citizens of the Russian Federation and Stateless Persons Permanently Residing in the Russian Federation Visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan!

According to Decision No. 561 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 29, 2024, starting from January 1, 2025, temporary staying period for citizens of the Russian Federation entering the Republic of Azerbaijan without a visa, as well as for stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation, cannot exceed 90 days within one calendar year.

Citizens of the Russian Federation and stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation who wish to stay or reside in the country for more than 90 days in within a year must apply to the State Migration Service for an extension of this period or for a temporary residence permit before the expiration of their temporary staying period in case there are grounds envisaged by the legislation.

Citizens of the Russian Federation and stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation entering the territory of the country from January 1, 2025, must comply with this requirement.
