The meeting held with officials of ATBA and TUIB at the State Migration Service

Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev had a meeting with officials of the Azerbaijan-Turkish Business Association (ATBA) and Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen and Industrialists Public Association (TUIB).

At the meeting, the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, who made a historic contribution to the establishment of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey on a solid foundation and his 94th birth anniversary, was honored. The achievements gained by the modern independent Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of the strategy determined by this genius personality were touched upon. The geostrategic position of Azerbaijan, as well as the significance of multicultural values as a tolerant country, the importance of successfully carrying out a number of international events, forums, symposia, cultural and sports competitions in the country, was particularly emphasized at the meeting. The philosophy of the IV Games of Islamic Solidarity, which will be held in Baku on these days, was also discussed.

Chief of the Service noted that as a result of the successful policy of President Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of the National Leader, Azerbaijan's economic development not only accelerates the flow of foreign investments, but also contributes to the growth of the number of foreigners wishing to work in the country. And this, in turn, creates the need to strengthen control over migration processes. Noting the multilateral negotiations related to abovementioned issues which were discussed at the meetings held during his visit to Turkey earlier this year, F.Nabiyev brought to the attention the importance of complying with the laws of our country by the leaders of each of the companies operating in Azerbaijan. Stating that, today the improvement of the migration legislation meets international standards and modern requirements, chief of the Service emphasized the importance of legalizing the stay and residence of migrants in the country and their compliance with the declared goals of staying at the entrance to the republic for the protection of their rights.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Turkish Businessmen Association (ATBA) Jemal Yangin and Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Turkish Businessmen and Industrialists Public Association (TUIB) Ali Insan Genc expressed satisfaction with the conditions created for businessmen in Azerbaijan and noted the importance of informing other countries about the positive experience in Azerbaijan. They also stated that along with supporting the economic, social, cultural development of Azerbaijan, they will continue to further work with more responsibility as an economic bridge between the two fraternal countries.
