Cooperation in the field of migration between Azerbaijan and United Arab Emirates  discussed

Today delegation headed by the chief of State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev who is on official visit to United Arab Emirates met with Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, acting assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Ports of the Ministry of Interior.

Emphasizing the high level of relations between two countries F.Nabiyev recalled the official visits of vice president and Prime minister of UAE, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev accordingly to Azerbaijan in April 1-2,2015 and to Arab Emirates in February 1-2, 2016, specially noted the significance of these visits in terms of development of bilateral relations and cooperation between friendly and fraternal countries, as well as brought into attention of major general K.Al-Khaili the intention of Azerbaijan to cooperate with UAE in all fields.

Later stating that President Ilham Aliyev gives great importance to development of the activity in the field of migration, as in other fields in accordance with high level international standards F.Nabiyev gave detailed information on state entity and its duties established in 2007 and headed by him, and using the opportunity invited the deputy minister to an official visit to our country.

In his turn, official of UAE confirming the high level of relations with Azerbaijan, draw attention to importance of exchange of visits of state and government representatives, besides the heads of country. As well as expressed his admiration for works done in the field of migration in Azerbaijan in a short period which has become to tourism center of the region for UAE citizens, brought into attention of F.Nabiyev that they are ready for cooperation with Azerbaijan in this field and for relevant support, expressed his gratitude for invitation to Azerbaijan and promised that will arrange his visit with a great pleasure.

Opinion exchange was conducted on themes interested the parties through migration, permanent and temporary residence permit and other issues during the meeting.
