The Day of National Salvation was celebrated at State Migration Service  

An event was held at State Migration Service on occasion of June 15th - the day of National Salvation.  I Deputy chief of the Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vali Naghiyev opened the event which started with performance of the National Anthem and talked about the importance of Salvation Day carved to our nations’ history in golden letters.    

It was stated that the return of national leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993 with people’s persistent demand gave a start to new stage in Azerbaijan’s independence history, prevented anarchy and chaos, normalized socio-political processes.

Later on the role of Salvation Day in existence of statehood of independent Azerbaijan was talked about and it was emphasized that salvation mission of Great leader Heydar Aliyev will never be erased from our nation’s memory. Because the return of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijani leadership was an upturn in socio-political, social, economic, military, scientific, cultural life and international relations, and start of an independent state building based on scientific grounds, in conformity with international norms and principles. Moreover, it was highlighted that Great leader Heydar Aliyev was a historic figure, who prevented civil war, provided national solidarity, established legal, political and economic bases of our modern development. It was brought into attention that as a result of this development Azerbaijan retained its deserved position in the international community and had a say in the world.

It was stated that the President Ilham Aliyev, as a worthyt successor of national leader Heydar Aliyev’s management school successfully continues great leader’s political path. His principal stand demonstrated towards inviolability of our country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, decisions made in regard to social and economic development of our country, care to citizens is its visual reflection.

In the end participants watched the documentary film dedicated to National leader Heydar Aliyev.
