28 May the Republic Day was celebrated at State Migration Service  

An event was held at State Migration Service related with 28 May the Republic Day. At the event which started with playing national anthem First Deputy Chief of State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vali Naghiyev spoke about establishment of first democratic republic in Muslim East – People’s Republic of Azerbaijan, the history of state independence of our country.

He dealt with consolidation of independence of our modern and independent country which is successor of People’s Republic as a result of policy founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, attained achievements, reforms carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev

He emphasized with pride that the 98th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic is celebrated in the period of rapid development, when the world trusts to Azerbaijani state, at the historic stage when our republic has turned into the place where international events are held. He mentioned as an example for that 7th Global Forum of UN Alliance of Civilizations, final stage of 2016 UEFA European Under -17 Championship. Along with these he drew attention to high level preparations of our capital city to host grandiose 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe and World Chess Olympiad. 

He also underlined that number of foreign guests visiting Azerbaijan, as well as applicants to State Migration Service has increased related with all these global events. He stated that all the facilities have been established for rendering high level and flexible service to foreigners or stateless persons visiting our country by the Service which has been surrounded with attention and care of the head of state.

The event ended with the demonstration of documentary film.
