February 2 Youth day was celebrated at State Migration Service  

First of all, participants viewed exhibition of handicrafts of the Service employees. 

Today Azerbaijani youth celebrate their holiday with great enthusiasm in every part of the country as a logical result of resolutely implemented state youth policy which was established by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. These ideas were expressed at the event held in State Migration Service on February 2 - nationwide youth day.

Deputy chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Elman Aliyev noted that organization of the first nationwide forum of independent Azerbaijani youth in 1996, declaration of February 2 as Azerbaijani youth day, adoption of state programs was an example of great care of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to youth. At the event entrance of the youth policy in the country to a new period in nature and quality, moral growth of youth, patriotic upbringing, education in foreign countries, measures taken towards solving the problems of those who need social protection, condition and opportunity created for formalization and development of youth organizations were discussed. It was stated that development of sport and increase of its popularity has an essential role in youth policy.

At the event where achievements of Azerbaijan youth were broadly analyzed it was mentioned that projects realized with initiative of the vice-president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva decently represent the interests of Azerbaijan youth around the world

It was also emphasized that the activity of the youth is further improved and their recruitment to state governance structures of Azerbaijan is expanding as a result of consistent efforts of President Ilham Aliyev. It was underlined as a gratifying case 80% of the personnel is composed of young people.

Later a group of young employees who distinguished in service activity were rewarded.

Chief of Youth and Sport Office of Binagadi district Gudsi Bayramov and Deputy chairman of Government Agencies and Public Service Workers Trade Union Abulfaz Mehdiyev participated in the event.

At the end of the event the film dedicated to the activity of State Migration Service “From Baku to world” was demonstrated.
