State Migration Service organized mobile service in Zagatala district  

State Migration Service organized regional mobile service in Zagatala city which falls within the scope of Shaki Regional Migration Department for foreigners and stateless persons residing in Zagatala, Balakan and Gakh districts.

An awareness raising event on legalization of foreigners and stateless persons illegally resided in the country, elimination of statelessness, rules of use of foreign labor force, fight against illegal migration was held with the participation of foreigners and stateless persons, citizens, representatives of relevant state authorities, public organizations, employers and entrepreneurs on the same day, as well.

At the event with the participation of 110 persons detailed information was given about measures taken by State Migration Service on registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon place of stay, temporary stay, issuance and extension of permits for temporary and permanent residence, as well as work permits, citizenship issues, establishment of citizenship, determination of refugee status, etc. The opportunities of e-service rendered by SMS were clarified.  

Later mobile service was carried out. 101 applicants used the opportunities of mobile service. The applications were received from 9 persons on establishment citizenship, from 5 foreigners or stateless persons on obtaining temporary residence and from 1 person on obtaining permanent residence permit. 15 persons were given permission card for temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and 53 persons were given references on establishment of citizenship. The list of documents required for application for establishment of citizenship, obtaining permits for temporary and permanent residence, as well as work permit was given to 18 persons.
