Meeting with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at State Migration Service

Firstly, chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor FirudinNabiyevpointed out the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Service chief expressed his gratitude for the support of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the direction of impartial solution of Nagorno – Karabakh conflict emerging as a result of Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan.

F. Nabiyev stressed that achievements in all fields,socio-economic progress, stability, safety under the leadership of President Mr. IlhamAliyevmake our country more attractive for foreigners. Chief of the State Migration Service especially mentioned that citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan also prevails the people who visit Azerbaijan. In this turn it was estimated as an example of importance given to the cooperation between our countries after restoration of state independence of Azerbaijan.

Service chief talked about application of relevant procedures which are indicated in Migration Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan such as, registration upon place of stay of foreigners and stateless persons,grounds and durations of their residence in the country, issuance of work permit, as well as other envisaged norms.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Azerbaijan thanked for sincere reception. Diplomat noted about construction worksrecently carried out in Azerbaijan and expressed the growing interest citizens of the country represented by him,tour Republic.

View exchange was held on some issues related to Pakistan citizens visiting Azerbaijan, as well as further expansion of cooperation in the migration field between two countries.
