Chief of the State Migration Service Firudin Nabiyev is paying an official visit to the Republic of Latvia
The visit of the State Migration Service chief, III rank state migration service councilor Firudin Nabiyev occurred upon the invitation of the State Secretary of Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Latvia. The goal of the visit is to discuss the fulfillment of Twinning project jointly implemented with the European Union and gained results, as well as, to exchange best practices and to develop cooperation between entities in the migration sphere.
Within the framework of visit on June 17 meetings were held between Firudin Nabiyev, chief of the State Migration Service and Inquna Aire, deputy of the State Secretary of Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Latvia, as well as, Vilnis Yekabsons, chief of Citizenship and Migration Issues Department and future cooperation perspectives were discussed.
It should be noted that the meeting between Firudin Nabiyev, chief of the State Migration Service and Normunds Garbars, the head of the State Border Guard will be held on June 19.
