106 foreigners were detained by the State Migration Service

106 foreigners were detained by the State Migration Service as a result of measures against illegal migration in cities and regions of the Republic. 93 of them are the citizens of Turkey, 5 of Georgia, 3 of Turkmenistan, 2 of Uzbekistan, 1 of China, 1 of Nigeria, and 1 of the Kingdom of Netherlands. During investigation it was defined that though one citizen of Turkmenistan and one citizen of Nigeria got relevant permits by State Migration Service, they were involved in the activities inappropriate to supposed duties. According to the requirements of legislation those foreigners' permit cards were cancelled and relevant measures were taken.

A citizen of the People's Republic of China who has been wanted since 2010 and subjected to deportation decision was detained in the territory of Shamkir region and was deported as well.

Measures against illegal migration are continued by the State Migration Service.
