Chief of State Migration Service met with persons newly admitted to citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Service chief, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev met with persons who recently admitted to citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the administrative building of the State Migration Service on January 10, 2014.
Greeting the participants of the event Service chief congratulated the persons who acquired citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev and wished them to be citizens worthy to our state.
F.Nabiyev stated that as a result of successful continuation of political course determined by National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, country economy has developed rapidly and considerable improvement has happened in lives of every citizen. Service chief mentioned that economic, cultural and social development observed in Azerbaijan has made our republic attractive for foreigners. It is a gratifying case that among foreigners who travel to Azerbaijan, study and work in our republic there are people who wish to be citizen of our country. In this regard number of applications on acquisition of citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan is increasing day-by-day.
Service chief underlined that 231 persons acquired citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan and citizenship of 10 persons was restored in 2013 in accordance with relevant Orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Later on list of persons acquired citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan was read out.
Persons who acquired and restored citizenship expressed their gratitude to respected President Ilham Aliyev, stated that they will carry the name of citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan with pride.
National anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played at the end of the event.
