Chief of the State Migration Service Firudin Nabiyev received Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in our country Robert Jan Gabrielse and Director General of Repatriation and Departure Service Ms.Rhodia Maas

Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in our country Robert Jan Gabrielse and Director General of the Repatriation and Departure Service of the Ministry of Security and Justice of the Kingdom Ms.Rhodia Maas.

Firudin Nabiyev congratulating Robert Jan Gabrielse on his new appointment as ambassador to our country spoke about significance of existing relations between State Migration Service and Repatriation and Departure Service of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Twinning project which is jointly implemented in order to improve professional training of the employees. He stated that Twinning project, as well as mutual visits in various levels expands cooperation relations between the two agencies.

Ambassador Robert Jan Gabrielse thanking for warm reception to the Service chief spoke about his activities in the direction of further expansion of the relations and perspectives of future cooperation during his diplomatic activity in our country. The Ambassador offered to meet again in the near future in order to discuss mutual cooperation relations in detail.

Rhodia Maas participating at the meeting expressed her satisfaction with the cooperation between the agencies and highly appreciated current results of Twinning project. Ms.Rhodia Maas stated that this project will make contribution to the development of the Service.

Later on 3rd Steeering Committee meeting of the Twinning project “Support to the professional development of the staff of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan” was held with the participation of the Deputy chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Parviz Musayev.

Representatives of the Netherlands, Latvia and Romania, which are the partner countries of the project from European Union, as well as project and component leaders, employees of EU representation in Azerbaijan, project office of implementation of Twinning, TAIEX and SIGMA Operations in Azerbaijan and Ministry of Economy and Industry were participated at the meeting.

Parviz Musayev greeting the guests stressed the significance of the project in professional development of the employees of the Service, wished success to participants in their future activities.

Implemented measures and achieved results during the last 3 months in the framework of the project were highly appreciated, report prepared as a result of monitoring held by EU and events to be held in the next quarter were discussed during the meeting.

It should be noted that measures in the direction of implementation of the project is being continued at the moment.
